Hello. When I am filling out my profile and asked if you were active or lightly active. I got 10,000 steps a day but do not exercise daily yet. With this be considered active or lightly active?

10.000 steps is beyond lightly active, I think. I would start with active and try that for a month (checking b your weight loss rate) before adjusting, if needed.
FYI, exercise shouldn't be included in your activity level (it should be logged separately).0 -
Active with that step count.
Remember the goal given intends you to estimate and add on your purposeful exercise calorie burn so when you do start to exercise you will get to eat more to keep your calorie balance the same.
