weight loss

I have a question about weight loss, i am 6 foot 5 and weigh around 21 stone, i have an apple watch and for yesterday with exercise ( as on a diet) i burned 1300
calories, i entered all my details on the app and said i wanted to lose weight and it said i had 2280 calories per day.
I don’t fully understand it but if i say ate 2000 calories and burned 500 calories through exercise would that give me 780 calories spare?
Plus on my apple watch it showed 1300 calories but these dont show on fitness pal, is there anyway to show this rather than steps? Thank you so much. Colin

The below pic shows my days total cals spent. This number will not be displayed in mfp as your total cals burned during the day.
The two following pics are my jog and mfp acknowledging that jog and all the additional steps I get in during the day. I’ve set my mfp to track this since I wear my watch pretty much 24/7.
This final pic is my daily totals. Most days I purposely eat back all calories over my 2100 daily set. If I wouldn’t I’d drop weight faster, but not looking at getting there as fast as possible. My goal is as healthy as possible. Keep in mind this is all guesstimates. Folks will say to much cals are given for WO or that I may not be exact with my tracking. I won’t dispute that… But I’ve been doing this going on three years so it works for me. I use this as a guide, but not as gospel factual exacts. I’ll make it clear my decrease is up and down… loose a lb gain 2 loose no loss. etc etc… up down or steady…
One more image on my tracking and overall progress over this last year.
