This might be useful to some folks who’ve been asking watch related questions lately. At the very least, you can make sure your interface is set up properly:

Also, not addressed in the article, if your steps aren’t recording properly, go into MFP:

*open MFP iOS app
* go to “more” at bottom right of home page
* Click on “steps”
* Choose “track steps from Apple Watch” if you wish to use your watch to record steps

Sometimes this gets turned off or reset to iPhone by accident. It’s very easy to accidentally do so when you get this message. See how the reset button is in fine print at the bottom, where your thumb probably rests when you hold your phone?

    I am considering buying an apple watch as my old NIKE sport watch is no longer supported, stopped many years ago. I can still use it for a current run in distance and time, but can no long upload logs of workouts, calories. It is also taking forever to sync for GPS. It is just time to retire the 10+ year old outdated device.

    I do have an IPHONE, however, I use a HP laptop, uses microsoft windows. Will the Apple watch work with the laptop? That is what I use most for MFP.

    Thanks if Spring or anyone else can answer this.

    The Apple Watch will pair with your iPhone and most of the functionality happenes there. All the MFP data is synced across the web so you can see it from either your phone or on your PC. It's all pretty seamless once you set it up.
