Sugar....

Been using this site for 1 month and 3 days with excellent results. My calorie limit for the day is 1390. Max sugar is 28.

I have not once been under my sugar limit for the day, have been under every day on Cals, Salt and Protein. Most of the sugar I eat comes from fruits such as grapes, apples etc.

Why is the daily sugar allowance so low? No matter what I do I can not stay under it.

    Unless you have a specific medical reason for keeping your sugar intake under a certain level, don't worry about it. Same goes for sodium.

    Protein, on the other hand, is important — and MFP's default level is already quite low. So work on upping your protein consumption.
