Hello everyone. I am fairly new to MFP and have just started exploring the community side of things. I find it very difficult to find previous posts I’ve made and discussions I’ve been in. Is there an easy way to navigate all of this because I know it can’t be as hard as I’m making it.

See that little flag right across from your thread title over on the right? Click on that and it becomes blue. That means it's saved in your "book marked" threads. To access them you go way over on the very upper right next to the bell and click on your profile pic. In your case you don't have one, but you have the outline of a person in a circle. Click on that and all posts that you've "flagged" will show up. However, you need to flag the posts that you've participated in. Best.

For the topics you started yourself, you have My Discussions in the Quick Links (top right).
As Snowflake mentioned, you can also bookmark threads, which you will also find under the Quick Links.

You can also configure your notification settings to tell you when people reply to thread you've posted comments in -> click on the bell in the top right corner of the navigation bar and then click on the three lines/sliders icon at the top to modify your notification settings.
