I just found out I need a new hip. But, I have to lose 10 pounds before they will schedule the surgery. I'm hoping to lose the 10 pounds in a few weeks, but it has really made me realize how poorly I've been eating over the pandemic. I gained 40 pounds over the pandemic due to the pain in my hip, antidepressant change and jut eating junk.
Any tips you can give on losing the first 10 pounds quickly and then staying on the straight and narrow would be appreciated. Thank you.

You can lose quickly by dropping your carb intake down to under 60-100 grams of carbs per day (amount depends on your size). It will be a quick water weight loss, but it can get you to surgery.1

Thank you. It's amazing when you start tracking how many carbs I eat.0
