Add Recipes to Recipes

Greetings,
I would like to have the option to add existing recipes to new recipes. For example, when we have homemade meatloaf, I use the leftover meatloaf in a sandwich later in the week; so I'd like to add a measured amount of the meatloaf recipe I already have as an ingredient in my meatloaf sandwich recipe.
Cheers

It’s not quite what you’re asking for, but for this particular scenario you could add your meatloaf recipe to a “meal” for your sandwich. Recipes can be added as components of meals.
“My foods” can be added as components of recipes. If you enter a common homemade base ingredient as a “my food” then you can enter it into a recipe. Just use your initials or something as the brand so you can find it easily in the search. (I made an entry for my homemade bone broth so there was an easily found and reliable broth entry I could find.). If you’re consistently making one recipe that has pretty consistent calories and macros, you could enter it as a “my food” by weight.1 -

This is a great suggestion and workaround!0 -
Actually in the area where you input your recipes there is a copy button. you copy and then rename the recipe. add or take away ingredient, amount or portion sizes. I just did it today with my seafood salad0
