Hello, all. I just started using MyFitnessPal a couple of weeks ago. I lost a lot of weight several years ago, but gradually put most of it back on once I stopped monitoring myself and put the rest of it on (and a bit more besides) once COVID hit. So now I've decided to monitor myself on an ongoing basis, and I hope MFP can help me do that.

I also have a question which I plan to post in a more specific forum if I can find one, but does anyone here have any good answer on how to get the step tracker to not count "steps" while I'm bicycling? Apparently the motion from bicycling is enough like walking that the step tracker triggers, but the count is tremendously inaccurate (and I have an app to measure my bicycling anyway). Thanks!
