What is an NSV/What does that mean?

Some have been asking, and I haven't yet seen an answer, so:

NSV = Non-Scale Victory

In other words, where have you seen/heard a comment, noticed a change in your MFP journey, or something similar that was an encouragement to you, but that was NOT related to a 'weight loss' that could be seen on a set of scales.

exactly. Like when someone says "are you losing weight" or "hey, you're looking good", that's an NSV. Fitting into that pair of old jeans that you haven't been able to get past your hips for years? That's an NSV. Being able to buy clothes off the rack at a "Normal" store instead of a "big and tall" store... that's an NSV. Suddenly realizing you can bend over to tie your shoes without having trouble breathing... yep, an NSV. So here's to keeping those NSVs coming! We can do this!
