Lower calorie intake

Due to my gastric sleeve 7 years ago I am unable to eat 1200 calories some days. Is there a way to adjust this in these circumstances. I Still eat a balanced diet just in smaller portions and no junk food or takeaway but high protein. Get sick of the message saying not enough intake at the end of the day. As a foot note I am under a dietitian as well who is happy with my food intake. I Just want to track it better.

I would suggest just not closing out your diary at the end of the day, it doesn't do anything particular except give an unreliable weight prediction and post on your newsfeed.

To expand upon what Lietchi says above, here's why the closing out doesn't really matter in terms of helping you with goals:

The projection is what you'd weigh at some point in the future (I think 4 or 5 weeks) assuming you ate exactly the same food and did exactly the same exercise. Every single day. For that entire time. None of us does that. Even if you don't close your diary, you can look at reports to follow the trend of your intake.

It can be nice/motivating to see that by meeting your goal for the day, your numbers could be lower in X weeks. But you know that will be true anyway if you're following your plan.

Folks who have had gastric sleeve or bypass are going to have different intake and nutritional needs. So are people with other health issues. Allowing everyone to deliberately set lower calorie goals below scientifically accepted minimums could be disastrous for folks with eating disorders or other health issues.
