    May 01 - 165.8 (And we are off! Looking for this to be the month I entrench myself in the middle of my maintenance range and switch to that stage. Excited!)
    May 02 - 165.6 (Had a great day yesterday. Returned from the lake, picked up my resized rings, shopped for new work clothes that fit, had a nice supper with my husband and Mom and rode the Peloton for 90 minutes.)
    May 03 - 167 (Fun night riding the Peloton, walking my dog, and a bit of TV. Back in office today which makes me feel more crunched for time.)
    May 04 - 167.8 (Another busy work day but I got in a walk at lunch with my husband and had a Peloton ride after work. Making the new schedule work and still finding time to prioritize me.)
    May 05 - 169.4 (Shrimp dinner, a Peloton ride and some TV last night. Last day of in office work today for the week.. meeting my husband for lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant. )
    May 06 - 170 (My husband has the flu or something like it so our weekend has started off on a quieter note. I have done the cooking the last two nights which isn't our usual routine. I took my dog for a nice walk tonight to enjoy some sun and I also retested on the Peloton during my lunch break and improved my FTP.)
    May 07 - 169 (Today I have a Zoom call with one of my groups on MFP. Also plan to take my first ride in my new zones which is always challenging.)
    May 08 - 167.6 (Taking my Mom out for a brunch today to celebrate her. The sun is out so I also hope to walk and bike. A bit of light house cleaning too! Enjoy the day all.)
    May 09 - 164.6 (Excess weight carried around during TOM has cleared as of this morning. I rode the Peloton last night and navigated the Mother's Day brunch very well. Today we woke up to snow but it's melted already. I will walk at lunch and then my evening activities will depend on my husband's plans.)
    May 10 - 164.4 (Wasn't firing on all cylinders today but I've ate on plan, drank my water, and gotten over 10,000 steps. I still want to ride the Peloton but we'll see if I time out before bed.)
    May 11 - 165.2 (I did get my Peloton ride in last night, and I had a much better day today. Off to enjoy a walk with my husband and my dog.)
    May 12 - 164.6 (Thursdays are a mini Friday of sorts because it's my last day of work in the office. I have a meetup with a friend at lunch I haven't seen since I started losing weight. So excited to catch up with her. My husband is still feeling better, so that's positive, and we have a virtual wine tasting event tonight that I'm looking forward to!)
    May 13 - 161.8 (Had a big wine night and drank way more than I intended to. Morning was a bit rough but I feel better now. Off to the lake now!)
    May 14 - 163.8 (Had time to sleep in today but still feel unrefreshed as I was up for the washroom multiple times last night. Good thing all I have to do today is laze around the lake :))

    May 04 184 lbs. Wednesday is my normal weigh in. I am thankful for no weight gain. I found April real distressing with the hills and valleys of my weight. My weekly trend weight went from 184.9 to 183.8. So that goal was accomplished. Now to focus on weight reduction.

    May 11 183 lbs OK 1lb less in 11 days. My weekly trend weight from last Wednesday went from 183.8 to 183.4. So it is downward trend. Half a month have lots of discipline to do.

    May 12 184.5 lbs ⬆️ Stress causes me to eat & put that with insomnia makes a terrible result. Tomorrow is a new day.

    Yesterday was a big TV night for me because there were two games and the Eurovision Finals on. I planned for a very snacky evening and ate a lot of things between 9pm-1am. All within my calories, but naturally my body is once again filled with half digested food and bloated from the extra sodium. I'm pretty sure the extra weight will be gone in a couple of days and I know it's not actual fat gain, so no big deal. I'm not too sure if I'll actually hit my WL goal for the month, though, but so long as the weight is going down it's all good :)

    Hi all so I have switched gears on my weight loss plan a bit. I have started a 75 hard plan because my mind (inner voice) has been sabotaging me. I needed to gain control of that voice the excuses the negative voice. So my goals has switched a bit:

    1) take a daily progress pic
    2) drink a gallon of water
    3) 2- 45 min exercises (min 3 hrs apart) one of the exercises has to be outdoors no excuses
    4) read 10 pages of a self development book
    5) pick a diet and stick to it. ( no alcohol, no cheat meals)
    6) you cheat or miss a task you start over

    I need to teach my inner voice positivity because my self sabotaging has been at an all time high.

    I am prob not going to weigh myself for 75 days due to scale has been my biggest gut punch everytime I get on it I am super focused on that darn number.

    Starting weight -160

    I would still like to see everyone’s progress and cheer you all on though.

    05/08.…..201.0…..(Trend Weight 202.7)….. Happy Mother’s Day everyone! Weight stayed the same which is okay after a big drop yesterday. Trend weight still trending down so I’m very happy. It gives me hope. I hope you all will enjoy a beautiful day. I will be taken out for dinner but will try to choose wisely. Ah, so many flowers delivered to me by our new florist in the next town. What thoughtful kids I have!


    05/09.…..200.8…..(Trend Weight 202.5)….. I just couldn’t get full last night! Luckily I had a good day full of mindful choices which ended up offsetting it. Down 0.2 is better than the gain I expected. I’ll be watching the scale, sometimes it creeps up later!


    05/10.…..203.2…..(Trend Weight 202.5)….. My 62nd Birthday! Not a very nice present on the scale this morning. Pretty good dietary choices yesterday which kept it under 1600 (my normal is under 1400). Moderate exercise. I had a big bump down, now a big jump right back up. I don’t always understand how this works for me but I do know that TMI is likely part of this equation today. Dinner out tonight with a friend and at a later time with my oldest daughter (maybe next week?)


    05/11.…..204.0…..(Trend Weight 202.7)….. I thought my dinner out yesterday was very reasonable. Very light breakfast and applesauce for snack. Hmph! Maybe birthday and mother’s day all coming at me at once on the scale. Tonight, another dinner for birthday. Home cooked meal with steak, potato etc. at one of my children’s houses. I’ll keep my day light again. Maybe get out more and MOVE in the yard.


    05/12.…..204.6…..(Trend Weight 202.9)….. Birthday dinner yesterday was delicious and healthy. Long travel today so leaving early. No TMI x2.


    05/13.…..202.6…..(Trend Weight 202.8)….. 2 pounds down overnight after an extremely long travel, restricted movement, low steps and two meals in restaurants. I’m surprised, but not completely. Finally TMI this morning and over 7 hours of sleep last night! Amazing what those things can do to make a difference!


    05/14.…..202.8…..(Trend Weight 202.8)….. About the same as yesterday. No TMI., 5 hours of sleep, but lots of steps yesterday and calorie burn due to working in the yard cleaning up 3 dead trees that I had cut down. Had to take lots of breathing breaks due to some heart issues. I hope the cardiologist can help on my first ever appointment June 1st.



    05/15……204.0…..(Trend Weight 203.0)….. I just had breakfast and dinner last night. But dinner was pasta (Lasagna). Sugar free candy for snack. Very swollen from gnat bites that I’m allergic to. Fluid retention and swelling. Nothing is helping. Benedryl, lavender oil, lavender shower gel washing (from essential oil company young living), baking soda paste, ibuprofen, cold compresses, cold water soaking, lymphomic fluid massage, keeping arms and legs elevated. Prescription Steroid cream, Horrid! Some travel today for supplies again. Probably one meal out with my helper. I’ll stay away from pasta today!

    May 03 - 167 (Fun night riding the Peloton, walking my dog, and a bit of TV. Back in office today which makes me feel more crunched for time.)
    May 04 - 167.8 (Another busy work day but I got in a walk at lunch with my husband and had a Peloton ride after work. Making the new schedule work and still finding time to prioritize me.)
    May 05 - 169.4 (Shrimp dinner, a Peloton ride and some TV last night. Last day of in office work today for the week.. meeting my husband for lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant. )
    May 06 - 170 (My husband has the flu or something like it so our weekend has started off on a quieter note. I have done the cooking the last two nights which isn't our usual routine. I took my dog for a nice walk tonight to enjoy some sun and I also retested on the Peloton during my lunch break and improved my FTP.)
    May 07 - 169 (Today I have a Zoom call with one of my groups on MFP. Also plan to take my first ride in my new zones which is always challenging.)
    May 08 - 167.6 (Taking my Mom out for a brunch today to celebrate her. The sun is out so I also hope to walk and bike. A bit of light house cleaning too! Enjoy the day all.)
    May 09 - 164.6 (Excess weight carried around during TOM has cleared as of this morning. I rode the Peloton last night and navigated the Mother's Day brunch very well. Today we woke up to snow but it's melted already. I will walk at lunch and then my evening activities will depend on my husband's plans.)
    May 10 - 164.4 (Wasn't firing on all cylinders today but I've ate on plan, drank my water, and gotten over 10,000 steps. I still want to ride the Peloton but we'll see if I time out before bed.)
    May 11 - 165.2 (I did get my Peloton ride in last night, and I had a much better day today. Off to enjoy a walk with my husband and my dog.)
    May 12 - 164.6 (Thursdays are a mini Friday of sorts because it's my last day of work in the office. I have a meetup with a friend at lunch I haven't seen since I started losing weight. So excited to catch up with her. My husband is still feeling better, so that's positive, and we have a virtual wine tasting event tonight that I'm looking forward to!)
    May 13 - 161.8 (Had a big wine night and drank way more than I intended to. Morning was a bit rough but I feel better now. Off to the lake now!)
    May 14 - 163.8 (Had time to sleep in today but still feel unrefreshed as I was up for the washroom multiple times last night. Good thing all I have to do today is laze around the lake :))
    May 15 - 164.6 (Epic day that started with a helicopter ride and ended with a 100 KM bike ride. I am exhausted but it was a great Sunday.)

    05/08.…..201.0…..(Trend Weight 202.7)….. Happy Mother’s Day everyone! Weight stayed the same which is okay after a big drop yesterday. Trend weight still trending down so I’m very happy. It gives me hope. I hope you all will enjoy a beautiful day. I will be taken out for dinner but will try to choose wisely. Ah, so many flowers delivered to me by our new florist in the next town. What thoughtful kids I have!

    05/09.…..200.8…..(Trend Weight 202.5)….. I just couldn’t get full last night! Luckily I had a good day full of mindful choices which ended up offsetting it. Down 0.2 is better than the gain I expected. I’ll be watching the scale, sometimes it creeps up later!


    05/10.…..203.2…..(Trend Weight 202.5)….. My 62nd Birthday! Not a very nice present on the scale this morning. Pretty good dietary choices yesterday which kept it under 1600 (my normal is under 1400). Moderate exercise. I had a big bump down, now a big jump right back up. I don’t always understand how this works for me but I do know that TMI is likely part of this equation today. Dinner out tonight with a friend and at a later time with my oldest daughter (maybe next week?)


    05/11.…..204.0…..(Trend Weight 202.7)….. I thought my dinner out yesterday was very reasonable. Very light breakfast and applesauce for snack. Hmph! Maybe birthday and mother’s day all coming at me at once on the scale. Tonight, another dinner for birthday. Home cooked meal with steak, potato etc. at one of my children’s houses. I’ll keep my day light again. Maybe get out more and MOVE in the yard.


    05/12.…..204.6…..(Trend Weight 202.9)….. Birthday dinner yesterday was delicious and healthy. Long travel today so leaving early. No TMI x2.


    05/13.…..202.6…..(Trend Weight 202.8)….. 2 pounds down overnight after an extremely long travel, restricted movement, low steps and two meals in restaurants. I’m surprised, but not completely. Finally TMI this morning and over 7 hours of sleep last night! Amazing what those things can do to make a difference!


    05/14.…..202.8…..(Trend Weight 202.8)….. About the same as yesterday. No TMI., 5 hours of sleep, but lots of steps yesterday and calorie burn due to working in the yard cleaning up 3 dead trees that I had cut down. Had to take lots of breathing breaks due to some heart issues. I hope the cardiologist can help on my first ever appointment June 1st.

Fluid retention and swelling. Nothing is helping. Benedryl, lavender oil, lavender shower gel washing (from essential oil company young living), baking soda paste, ibuprofen, cold compresses, cold water soaking, lymphomic fluid massage, keeping arms and legs elevated. Prescription Steroid cream, Horrid! Some travel today for supplies again. Probably one meal out with my helper. I’ll stay away from pasta today!

    05/17.…..203.4…..(Trend Weight 203.0)….. A small amount of travel yesterday. About 75 miles each way so not too bad. We had lunch out and I chose breakfast foods to keep the carbs down. It was good that it wasn’t a late dinner like it commonly is when traveling. I had time to burn some of it off later in the day. It was a personal trying day later in the day but I got through it. Anyway, the travel was for a Cement bird bath with the top being like a sunflower. I’ve already seen one of my birdies on it and he was smiling. He then flew off to tell his family and friends. It was a tough day otherwise, until that birdie landed. It was like a soft kiss on a boo-boo. Today will be a glorious day! I can feel it!

    May 04 184 lbs. Wednesday is my normal weigh in. I am thankful for no weight gain. I found April real distressing with the hills and valleys of my weight. My weekly trend weight went from 184.9 to 183.8. So that goal was accomplished. Now to focus on weight reduction.

    May 11 183 lbs OK 1lb less in 11 days. My weekly trend weight from last Wednesday went from 183.8 to 183.4. So it is downward trend. Half a month have lots of discipline to do.
