If I'm going to have toast, which is less than 1X/week, I load that thang up with margarine and strawberry jelly.

Probably not your definition of healthy.

I read this as "heavy things on toast" so why not throw on a 45 pound plate for some iron?

Unless you have an allergy, peanut butter is good for you.

To change it up a bit I use hummus with a little sriracha on top, or some egg salad.

    Eta spelling sriracha

    Thanks :) What's sriracha?

It's a hot chili sauce that is amazing on literally everything.

I LOVE avocado, fried eggs in coconut oil, a couple slices of cheese, and a handful of arugula. I'm hungry now.

You could try almond butter, but I really see no reason to not have peanut butter as long as you are watching your portions..

Anyway, I really enjoy eating a poached egg with salt and pepper on top of my toast. The yolk gets all runny and the bread just soaks it up. Amazing.

I LOVE peanut butter but it's not very good for you, so I want to find a replacement.
    Thanks :)

HOW DARE YOU!! I eat peanut butter on toast EVERY day :) Nothing wrong with it. If you can make it fit into your calorie goal while hitting you target protein and fat numbers, then go for it.

Could not be said any better. I literally put that sh#t on everything haha.

Last weekend I fried 1 egg white & 1 whole egg loaded up w/pepper and melted a thin slice of cheddar on it. Sliced some avocado and DOUSED it in Sriracha (actually only like a teaspon and a half) and ate it between 2 pieces of Nature's own whole wheat (60 cals & 11 carbs/slice). Will be making that again as soon as I have time in the AM...Which usually is only on the weekend :)

I LOVE peanut butter but it's not very good for you, so I want to find a replacement.

YOU MUST BE MY LONG LOST SISTA! I go to bed thinking about the yummy peanut butter I get to have every morning on my slice of Udi's gluten free toast. It's the reason I get outta bed!
