I tend to stay up a little later than I should and end up snacking. I'm afraid that the small progress I've made will be reversed. Any ideas to help me get to sleep early enough to avoid late night snacking?

Set your alarm for 5am and get up early every day and work out first thing.

Well, I woke up at 6:30 this morning. I usually end up falling asleep again a few hours after I wake up because I don't have a job right now, and I graduated from high school at the end of may. So I don't have a set schedule to follow and I'll end up lying down and falling asleep. I also do chores around the house to help keep myself awake, but not every day.

Save some calories for late evening snacking. I usually end up eating a decent bit before bed. It doesn't interfere with my sleep, so there's no issue. If you like to eat late, then do so. Just plan for it.

When you want to eat and you know you don't need to, drink a glass of water. I will put apple cider vinegar (1 tbsp.) in a full glass, or squeeze some lemon in it. If this doesn't help, snack on some plain celery sticks or try hot, herbal tea.
