Hello,
I just started with a diet clinic May 4th. May 5th I started on Ozempic for weight loss. May 6th I started tracking what I am eating. On May 7th, I started replacing 2 meals a day with a meal replacement drink. I hate taking the time to track everything I eat but I also know that I need to do this to get healthier and become smaller. I am starting at 295 lbs. This last 30 lbs I put on during being home for 2 years with COVID restrictions is really taking a negative toll on my mobility and ability to care for myself, my family and our home. I really would like to loose 100+ pounds BUT my immediate goal is the first 10 pounds and working up to becoming more active. I have fibromyalgia, so pain is a huge hold back from exercising. I can't walk at a normal pace for 5 minutes without needing to use my inhalers and being in pain.
I am looking to meet people who are on a similar journey, especially people who can identify with the challenges of losing weight while dealing with chronic pain. I full well know that the more exercise I do, the stronger I'll get and the less pain I will be in overall BUT at the same time, I find it soooo difficult to push myself into the pain of exercise to reap the benefits of becoming healthier.
I feel like I am starting strong but I also don't feel like my husband is a strong support for this. I always start things strong, its the long-term follow through where I need the most support. I don't know, I feel like I'm rambling but this is my story and where I am at. I've tried weight loss before but I've never had someone take the time to hold me accountable for not tracking foods, or for going too far over in calories, or for not taking that walk, etc. Have a great day!
Thanks,

I can relate! I’ve tried this A few times. The main issue is holding myself accountable so I can totally relate. And I do not have a support system either my husband doesn’t Pay too much attention. I’m gonna start logging my food and walking tomorrow I would like to start lifting exercises to gain some muscle that’ll help burn more fat. I’m starting at 220 and I’m 5’2 , 57. Let’s help each other out!!1

Friend me! My SW is 273.6. CW 273.4. Im just now starting back on this losing weight thing- I gave up for a few years during COVID and mental health struggles coupled with stress from work and lack of support from my husband (he tries but doesn’t understand why losing weight is important so when I’m sad he buys me binge foods and I have depression- I’m always sad). My goal is 140. I don’t have physical chronic pain but the struggle is real when you have conditions that make you not want to work out at all.1
