Third time is the charm?

I have been here, introducing myself, twice before. Twice I did loose weight and eventually realised when starting to maintain that I was being obsessive about calories and not being healthy anymore.
But when I left, I also eventually gained my weight back (and more).
So this time I am going to try and be aware of the risk of obsession. I want to loose weight I put on during a bad time in my life, be more active and happy and healthy doing it.
And I want it to be maintainable.
I have tried two famous weight loss programs in the last two years, they both made sense, but I couldn’t make them fit into my life and be happy with it. So I failed to loose weight.
Calorie counting is not the optimal way to learn healthy eating, but it is what works for me, so I am back to do it again, and do it better.
