Meal prep is great. You should look at Josh Cortis on YouTube, he has a lot of great meal prep recipes1

I like meal prep, but I follow a pretty relaxed style of it. Most of mine consists of grocery shopping on a specific day (usually Saturday) and using Sunday to chop up all of my fruits and veggies for the week. Sometimes I get busy on Sunday, so I'll chop extra as I go. Like, if I chop up an apple for a snack, I'll chop up two or three and save the rest for snacks another day. Or, if I'm using my food processor to shred some carrots, I might also chop up some chickpeas or onion. Stuff like that. This works pretty well for me since I like to toss things together quickly, but I get pretty tired of the same thing over and over.0

I've been meal prepping all of my food for work (I work 12+ hour shifts) for years. For me, it's the best, if not only, way to really stay on track.0

Kinda sorta...I don't prep for a whole week, but my wife will usually make a big batch of quinoa or something that will last us a few days to include in our lunches. We typically cook extra of whatever we're having for dinner to take for lunch the next day if it is something that is edible re-heated (otherwise I have a sandwich). I don't do a whole week because I like to have a little variety, but also I just have a kind of OCD thing about "leftovers" more than about 72 hours old...really 48, but I can make myself eat 72 hour food if I must. After that it's a no go for me.0

My husband is the same. We really can't make anything that lasts more than two days or he'll throw it in the garbage when I'm not looking. So meal prep just doesn't work for my household. I do however make sure to have lots of easy to grab healthy snacks, fruit, yogurt, protein bars, seeds and nuts which often substitute as a meal.0 -
I meal prep mostly by doubling the main meals I cook and then freezing spare portions. It means I have lots of “ready meals” in the freezer like cottage pie, spog bog, lasagne, stir fry, risotto, casseroles and other stuff. It means I have good meals which meet my macro requirements to hand. And I also meal prep for the two days each week I work away - thank goodness for Tupperware 😀2
