Hi, I need a little support. I've been an mfp'er for over a year and lost 28 lbs in six months last year. I kept it off for a while. Since I've moved to a new state, I've gained. It has been five pounds since I got to my new home. Only three months. I'm diabetic and have a closet full of size 10 clothes. So, I need to stay the same weight. Trying to lose about six pounds to get back to where I want to be. I'm trying to do it without joining a gym. Possible, or should I join somewhere?

You do not need to be a member of a gym to lose weight. I've lost 80 lbs without setting foot in a gym or fitness center. If you are looking for exercises to do at home, there are tons of workout videos for free on YouTube. Just search what you're interested in. Go for a walk or jog outside. Go for a bike ride. Your options are limitless.

*The statement about never using a FC is technically a lie because I did utilize the treadmills in the FC at a few hotels when I was traveling this summer so that I would stay on track. I did not, however, use one in my regular routine when I was home.

If you eat a a deficit you'll lose the weight.
