Nausea between meals

I have been struggling with eating well / dieting.

While planning my meals, weighing quantities and sticking to my current 1800 calories, I am having issues between meals where I am feeling nauseous. I use mild snacks between but it is not feeling enough and wondered if anyone has had to do regular frequent meals and if anyone could give any insight or guidance hoe they do this.

Often my meals are around 400/500 calories for breakfast/lunch/dinner, full of fibre and proteins but I am trying to work out and idea to split this into meals every 3 hours to keep me going without overeating.

Any guidance at all would be very much appreciated

I get hungry very quickly and I get full very quickly so usually I will have a pretty big breakfast (due to time constraints because I can't wake up early) but my other meals are stretched out throughout the day, especially lunch. "Lunch" typically takes me 3 hours to eat as I'll have a piece of fruit, feel full enough, get hungry again, eat some kwark or yoghurt or whatever, feel full again, get hungry again, eat whatever else I had planned for lunch.

I typically also exercise in the evening around 6 or 7pm so if I have time I'll cook before and eat half or a third of my dinner before and the rest after exercising.

This works for me as feeling hungry will have me grabbing cookies or dry bread or something very sweet even if there's a perfectly good meal right there. The regular food won't feel filling enough until at least 20 min later but the cookies and bread will take off the edge almost instantly. So I try not to let myself go hungry. It's not to the point of nausea for me and this method works better on work from home days than office days but I have a few (skinny) coworkers who snack on stuff all day, from a couple of nuts to a little yoghurt to an apple and sandwiches.

I did hear from a different (skinny) coworker who has been doing IF for a few months that that helped her manage her hunger, I think she even pushed it to 20-4.

Good luck! I hope you find a way that works for you. I guess it's just a matter of experimenting to see what works for your body.
