Has anyone run a zombie race?

I want to sign up for the zombie 5K, but I don't know if I want to be a zombie or a runner. The registration is $5 cheaper as a zombie and I get to dress up and get my zombie makeup done, but I will only be able to run a small part of the course to steal runner's flags. As a runner I will run the whole obstacle course and have to evade zombies, but I could get all my flags stolen. I'm not sure what happens if your flags are stolen but you do run the whole race. So if you've run one, what did you pick and why?

    never ran one I want to but I think zombie would be fun .... I think that its probably harder to be a zombie I dont think you just run after one person and your done but you chase more then one and there trying to get away from you so they run faster ... just seems like more fun ... plus I'd steal your flag

    I did a vampire race, very similar. Once your flags are stolen you become a zombie and join the chase. I'd say just choose whichever you think is funner. I'd think that'd be zombie. I'm def doing it again!
