Belly fat

I’m having hard time losing fat around my belly. Can you please give me some tips? Thank you!

You can't target where you lose fat, you just need to lose fat overall. Unfortunately, stomach fat is often a first on last off kind of situation. Patience!

Genetics determines where your body stores fat. Some store it mostly in their stomachs, some in their butt or hips, some in their thighs. As you lose weight overall, you should lose some of the belly fat, but it may be the last place that you lose it.

For me it's genetics and alcohol. I genetically don't gain easily in my belly unless I'm drinking too much and then it goes straight there, and I can lose it preferentially from my belly by cutting alcohol.

That's just me, but OP if you are drinking regularly, perhaps take a break from alcohol and see if it helps you as well. Maybe it will, maybe it won't, but cutting alcohol won't hurt you and will probably help with weight loss, so why not?

One thing that can make your abdomen look more distended is the consumption of foods that inflame the intestines. Swollen, enlarged, irritated intestines can make anyone's belly look bigger. If you are not doing so already, an anti-inflammatory diet might make a difference in inches. It may take a bit for your intestines to heal and shrink, but it's definitely worth it. The first time I was really careful with an anti-inflammatory diet without any cheating, I didn't lose much weight but I did lose about 4-5 inches off my gut after one month.
