Hi,
I am tired of wanting to lose 20kg ans always breaking my motivation.
I've decided to do 2kg a month.
Allowing me to eat normal and not worry about the end goal. Making smaller achievable goals instead
If anyone would like to join me and post how they go I weigh in on the first of each month.
Start of June 74kg

I'm not losing right now (maintaining now), but I wanted to comment that I had done a stage of quite slow loss a while back, and it worked out really well: Very achievable, pretty much painless. I hope it'll work out really well for you.
One thing to be aware of: If you're like me, it would be common to have weight fluctuations day to day of a few pounds (for me, 2-3 pounds, or around 1-1.5kg, would be unsurprising as a change in weight from one morning weigh-in to the next morning's weigh-in). That's just from normal, healthy differences in water retention, and differences in how much food/drink is still in my digestive tract on its way to becoming waste. Neither of those things are body fat, but they do affect scale weight.
In that context, losing a quarter kg of body fat per week can take up to several weeks to show up clearly in body weight patterns. It plays peek-a-boo on the scale with the water/waste weight shifts. If you're prepared for that possibility, it's no big deal. If you're not prepared for it, it could be discouraging. (It should be no big deal, IMO.)
Using a weight-trending app can help visualize fat loss better, but even my weight trending app thought I was maintaining or even gaining for a short number of weeks, once in a while. (I knew it was mistaken, and sure enough, eventually my expected weight loss showed up on the scale quite suddenly.) (Examples of weight trending apps are Happy Scale for Apple iOS, Libra for Android, Trendweight with a free Fitbit account (you don't need a Fitbit device), Weightgrapher - among others.)
I hope this slower loss approach works well for you - it did for me.8 -
