okay, so i ordered a HRM recently and when it got here and I started reading the manual, it stated that it wasn't going to track calories burned unless the HR was above 100. It said it would not be as "accurate" if the HR were under 100! What about a low intensity workout that you maintain a lower HR with???? Anyways, my resting HR is in the low 50's, and when I am working out really hard my HR goes up to the upper 100's (180-190's). But as I found out while wearing this one during level 2 of the 30 DS, when I am switching b/w exercises or doing abs, my HR goes back down below 100 (to like 98!!). I know I am still burning a good amount of calories during this time, but the HRM completely stops adding them up! So, I sent it back and was wondering if all the HRM's are like this??

    What model did you get?

I'm quite curious too as to what everyone thinks as I've just recently ordered one (Polar F6) and I'm waiting for it to arrive.

I got a Sigma ONYX from amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B0012BCCCK/ref=dp_image_z_0?ie=UTF8&n=3375251&s=sporting-goods

I picked it cause it was SUPER easy to set up and use...and it was blue, lol.

I just got the polar ft4 from amazon. I love it and i wanted to double check calories burned when i play 18 holes of golf. It was pretty close to what MFP stated and it does show all calories burned whether or not I'm "in the zone" which by the way out of 4 hours and 980 cals burned~~ less than 1 hour of that ~~~was in "the heart zone" still burned 980 regardless.
