Re-introducing myself

I'm back for another try. I started on this program last fall and lost 12 pounds before getting Covid in January. Covid became Long Covid, and now I've gained 15 pounds thanks to being completely sedentary for five months and eating mostly comfort foods.
Technically I'm only 5 pounds overweight, but I hate that I can't fit into my clothes and that's a good motivator for me. With the Long Covid exercise is still out of the question, but I've made some simple dietary changes like trading out sugary drinks for seltzer water, cutting back on the alcohol and cannabis (there's no self-sabotage like the munchies!) and more bag salads. I still don't have the energy to cook like I normally would, and I'm relying heavily on instant and pre-made foods. I have a good medical team (Long Covid has a few bright spots,) so I may ask for a referral to a nutritionist.
Anyway, it's good to be back and feeling more motivated. I look forward to meeting everyone and being a part of the community again.
