Search for Help Desk articles in the forums with Federated Search!

Hi all! I wanted to take a moment to announce a new feature we’ve enabled in our forums and dive in to how it is used. Federated Search is a useful function that combines the existing search tools you already use in the forums with our database of Help Desk FAQs on the MyFitnessPal platform.

What does this mean? Basically- Now you can search for Help Desk articles directly from the forums in the search bar. Have a question on how a particular feature works? Chances are we have an existing FAQ on it that you can peruse at your leisure.

How to Use Federated Search
- Enter your query into the search bar; For example, “Steps not Syncing”
- On the next page, select the “MyFitnessPal Support” panel.
- A list of applicable FAQ articles will be populated below. As per usual, you can filter your results based on date, and sort results based on best match or newest/oldest.
- Clicking on an FAQ article will open the page in a new tab for your convenience.

Not able to find an answer in our FAQs? No problem!
Just click on the “Submit a Request” button at the bottom of any article to get help from our Solvvy Help Desk AI to gather details about your issue, and submit a support request to our Customer Happiness team. They would be happy to personally answer any questions you have.
