Keeping track of weight - android app

Quick question: didn't the app used to update and lower the amount of calories of the 'calories remaining' for every time that you lost weight?

Currently I have to change my goals in settings if I want to reflect the weight loss in my daily calorie goal.

I've been on MFP for nearly three years and it never adjusted automatically for me, I've always had to update my goal settings...

Honestly, who knows, MFP is quirky to say the least

For the longest time (years), there have been users who say they saw it auto-adjust for them, and other users who say they've never seen that. (I'm in the latter camp . . . which doesn't mean I disbelieve those who say otherwise. Software can be weird, and I say that as someone who spent a 30-year career in IT, so it's a professional opinion. 😉)

I look at it this way: I know how to make it work the way I want/need it to, so I don't much care whether it's working "right" or not. 🤷‍♀️ YMMV.
