I usually end up with 400 -500 remaining calories at the end of the day should I be eating them calories if I am hungry

It would be good to know more about you and what your goal is, what settings and how you're progressing so far.
A generic answer, not knowing anything about your situation:
If you set your goals in MFP (weight loss, maintenance or gain) then yes, you should eat them. The occasional lower intake day is fine, but on average you should be aiming to reach your calorie goal.0
