    It was cold the first couple days, I actually had a fire for warmth and regretted not bringing a down jacket. Then the clouds vanished and the weather became as beautiful as the surroundings.

    I'm used to swimming but it was much too cold. On my way back from hiking today the car said it was 100F in North Bend and 90F here in Seattle. It will be swimming season any day. Ironic to miss it, but it was to explore new trails.
