Hey guys,
so i know this may seem like a newbish post when i've actually been here over a year now but lately i seem to be more concerned with my macros, i guess this is because i've got down to my desired weight loss and now im working on body comp, there is still fat around my tummy i want to loose.
I've finally started upping my strength training however, the last few days have been staying at my cousins and have not been able to adhere to my protein intake as much, i know there is no excuse infact i havent been as strict on myself and broke out a bit on the carb front eating biscuits and cereal bars instead of proper healthy lunches, wouldn't mind but there not even the good complex carb sources.
I guess my question is how do others move on from something like this, should i lower my grams of carbs even more the next few days or should i just go back to my normal routine...any advice be much appreciated

I'd just go back to doing your regular routine if it was working for you. I've never found that sticking to exact macros made any difference at all as far as losing fat but your body won't remember you at too many carbs 2 days ago and make up for it by eating too few now.0

This happens to me when I visit my 84 year old mom who insists on serving things her way. She, at leasts, serves the "balanced plate", but her salad is deli cole slaw, her fruit is fruit cocktail from a tin, and her meat is deli ham on "whole wheat bread". I just make sure I don't snack from the bowl of mini snickers, when we eat out I double down on protein, and get back on track when I leave her house.0

Thanks for the advice people, was over thinking it a bit too much yesterday, back on track today and making more of an effort to get that protein in!0
