Not syncing with Garmin

Before the latest iOS update, my workouts tracked on Garmin would sync to My Fitness Pal, but I couldn’t get my inputs to My Fitness Pal to sync with Garmin. Since the latest update they just don’t “talk” to each other at all. My husband is not having this issue- is it just me?
