Weight in blue makes me blue because it’s a gain. Weight in fuchsia pink makes me feel cheery because it’s a loss. Weight in black means no change.

    07/13-197.0-(Trend Weight 200.8)-
    07/14-197.4-(Trend Weight 200.5)-

07/15-198.2-(Trend Weight 200.3)- Okay, what’s going on??? Scale did not seem wonky today. Is it the healing from Covid? Still testing with one solid line and one very faint line. Feeling so much better! I have been CONSISTENLY a perfect dieter (lately). Hitting macros perfectly. Staying under on calorie and carbs. Glucose has really improved over this past week of following the eating plan. I’ve even increased the exercise after feeling better (and not having handymen here all day). Last night I danced to 5 songs (23 minutes) last night! The only other thing I can think of is that I’ve been trying to do some fasting overnight/morning and it’s pushing my meals out much later than usual. Dinner has been really late the last few nights. I’ll try to readjust it all and see what happens. I am still a bit worried about my scale, it was crazy yesterday and I don’t think I got the same reading twice. However, today, it seemed back to normal. I will keep watching that too. Handymen will be back today, but I’ll still try to fit in some movement. Of course, I will wear my continue wearing my mask during any direct contact for a few more days. My trend weight is still going down, I’ll take it!

07/16-198.8-(Trend Weight 200.1)- This is getting scary. Another huge jump up on the scale. Again, I stayed under calorie, under carb, met my macros wonderfully. I fit in 50 minutes of walking including inclines in two sets and I did some gardening and plant transplanting. I continued to log every bite. The only negative is that dinner was very late (after 11:00 pm) due to an unexpected phone call from an old friend in Tennessee. Scale was consistent with several weigh-ins. I don’t get it. I understand I am healing from Covid. I guess my weight drops were due to sickness, even though my appetite was fine and I at all my calories and carbs then too, even in the worst of the illness. Interestingly, my fat percentage has been staying the exact same and my trend weight continues to go down, even after several days of “gains”. Hmmm…..

07/17-DNW-(Trend Weight DNW)- I couldn’t bare to see another unwarranted gain today and it’s there, I can feel it. Taking a day off the scale and hoping it will turn around. Sticking to the plan.

07/18-200.8-(Trend Weight 200.2)- WTH? Goodbye Onederland! I was under calorie and carb again yesterday. A very high calorie burn for the day. Macros were good but sodium showed a little high due to a frozen dinner. I have not eaten back any caiories. Feeling pretty good. Still a bit of a cough but testing negative finally for the Covid virus. I still don’t get it. Especially since the gains have been higher than the original whoosh after testing positive for Covid. I’m really starting to feel sorry for myself here. This is not a plateau, it’s a steady gain for no apparent reason. I’m really starting to feel sorry for myself and that usually does not lead me to a very good place.

@deepwoodslady, what if your body needs more water to get rid of the salty meals?
You've worked so hard! I am betting that your body is prepping for a drop, just stick to it!

07/19-200.6-(Trend Weight 200.3)- The scale is finally leveling off. There is even a small 0.2 drop today. Maybe it will turn completely back around and wander back into Onederland. I took a long walk of over 30 minutes in my neighborhood with my son last night. The hardest part was my own driveway and my own street due to th4 steep inclines. The rest of it was broken up between hills, inclines and flat areas. Just random enough to make it possible for me. I don’t think my son was too thrilled but I know he is trying to help me keep my heart strong. He took it all more seriously when he saw me on the heart monitor at home with all the wires. Truthfully though, he needs the movement as much or more than me. He is 5’ 6” and weighs about 306 pounds. His BMI is over 50. He is 26 years old but his autism keeps him from fully understanding the gravity of his situation. I hope to get him out even more. Also, to get him dancing with me again! My blood pressure ran low all day yesterday. About 98/52 most of the day and evening. This morning running about the same again. I have no idea if I should be taking the BP meds when it runs this low. Anyone happen to know anything about that? I’ll also google what I can.

My name is Tina, Height: 5'6" Age: 55
    MFP starting weight: 149.2 (3/30/21)
May start: 128.4 May end: 127.4
    June results: -1.0
    July goal: maintenance of 128-132

I was not going to participate this month but realized soft diet restrictions lift as of the 6th. So I know as I incorporate more food, the scales will move. Goal is still to maintain weight. I would love to get to 125, but it has taken surgery and very little food to get to 128. I am happy around 130, so I believe I will focus on maintaining and working out. Need to tighten up now.

    7/01: 128.6 (128.9 trend)
    7/02: DNW
7/03: 125.8 (128.1 trend) not my scales so I'm not thinking this is accurate. Thought I would post anyway. Certain when I get home, that number will jump up
    7/04: DNW
    7/05: DNW
7/06: 129.0 (128.1 trend) I knew that scale was not right. Oh well, still within range.
7/07: 129.4 (128.3 trend) really need to be mindful now of my food intake. Starting to log again
    7/08: 129.6 (128.4 trend) keeps creeping up
    7/09: DNW
7/10: DNW a bit of indulging this weekend so the scale will probably show that tomorrow
7/11: 131.8 (129.6 trend) time to get the tracking going and keep from gaining any more. I have been enjoying the solid food though.
7/12: 131.2 (129.8 trend) got in the habit of snacking to keep calories up. Having a hard time stopping
    7/13: 129.0 (129.7 trend)
7/14: 128.0 (129.5 trend) didn't eat much yesterday. Had several doctors appointments so it was just grab a piece of fruit and a protein drink to have in-between. Then my car got hit in a parking lot between first and second appointment. GRRRRR. Not what I needed! Ended up being so frazzled, that I forgot to stop at the lab and get my bloodwork drawn. Fortunately no one was hurt and the damage was fairly minimal. So glad I have an old car and a few dings don't look too out of place :D Car is to be handed down to my teenage son next year, so I told him I was breaking it in for him. He didn't find it funny
7/15: 128.0 (129.3 trend) not sure how it stayed here after my dinner of puff corn and ice cream
    7/16: DNW
    7/17: DNW
7/18: 130.8 (129.8 trend) moved my daughter home from college research program. Did not watch my food intake and it showed on the scale this morning. She and I discussed getting a little walking in this week so I'm hoping the numbers start dropping. A lot of changes coming up and I need to stay focused. Starting a new job soon, getting married, getting my teenage son set up in a new school, and moving. Will be a challenge to not stress eat. Need to make a conscious effort to stay on track.
    7/19: 129.6 (129.8 trend)
7/20: DNW talked myself out of weighing this morning. Stressful couple of days and I wasn't in the frame of mind to see an uptick. Probably should have weighed to remind myself that stress eating is not good. Oh well. Some things were taken off my plate and now I have fewer things to stress about. The next month should be interesting.

@nikkit321 - Thinking of you as you heal! I see you have been discouraged and I can sympathize. I too am realizing that my plantar fasciitis/bone spur is not healing on its own and I need to go back to the doctor, but there never seems to be a right time. But then I tell myself that if I had gone and asked for surgery months ago, my recovery would be over by now. If you don't hear from me that I have made an appointment with ortho, kindly kick that boot of yours into my *kitten*!

I see that you and I are kindred spirits! Avoidance doesn't heal anything, it just keeps us in limbo longer. Make the appointment Vita or my boot will be coming your way!
