Fitbit connection issue

I was having an issue with my Fitbit syncing exercise, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the connection to Fitbit. Now, it isn’t connected at all, but when I choose “connect” the web version of MFP it send me to says it is connected. The trouble with syncing originated when the app updated. Please help, it’s incredibly frustrating.
