Hi Everyone,
I have been trying to lose pregnancy pounds honestly since my first one was born 13 years ago! My last baby is almost 3 years old and I am back to the same weight as when I delivered him. I initially lost weight and have gained all 18 lbs back.
I am trying to watch what I eat but it is so hard. I am reading "You can lose it" by Ilana Mulstein and everything in there makes sense. Water first, veggies most, etc. I eat really well until the afternoon then it snowballs into snacks, dinner, and then after dinner wine. I'm not doing myself any favors and I'm getting sick of getting bigger!
I am doing Peloton cycle and strength workouts. I am a single mom who works full time and goes to school for her masters program so meal prep is hard. But I know I need to start doing it.
I guess I just wanted to know if anyone out there is in the same miserable place I am. I'm going try really hard to eat well today and not throw in the towel if I have a bite of a snack like I normally do.

It sounds to me like you are too hungry by dinner. I like to pre log what I am eating for the day. In the morning I will log my whole days worth of food, including dinner and an evening snack. It helps me a lot. What are you eating for breakfast and lunch? If you are famished by dinner, that may be one of the issues. I have to eat more during day and a lighter dinner, OR have a full dinner around 5pm.0
