240 Days (56 Days of MFP Data)

Hello,
Started logging beginning of July. Had been dieting since January but found calorie tracking on MFP a big help. Previously had just been recording weight in Excel.
Have done some analysis of the data from MFP (would love an export function!), specifically net vs maintenance calories. I think MFP has me on a daily deficit of 500. Looking at my daily nets over 56 days shows:
I go over goal on 50% of days (eek!)
I go over maintenance 32% of days
I average 333 cals under maintenance per day
Now, the weird thing is I have lost about 7KG in that time, but netted 18,600 cals under maintenance. The cals 'should' equate to ~2.5KG. Something's out somewhere. Maybe I'm over estimating intake, or under estimating exercise cals, or both.
Don't care, lost weight.
Chart of progress from Jan. There are some weigh-in gaps from when I took 'breaks'
3.5KG to go...
Cheers
PS - swam 2.5k this morning; 8 weeks ago I couldn't swim >100m
Edited: Spelling is hard.

That's great. I might do something similar to this when I'm at goal . Its also reassuring to know that even if you go over, as long as you average out at a deficit you will lose weight!0

Exactly. I've done nothing 'faddy', just kept an average deficit. I think the exercise helps with that a lot.
Diary is open if anyone wants to see how badly I eat (drink would be more precise) at times.0
