Calorie Adjustments

Hello all! I’m new to calorie tracking on MFP. Does anyone know if MFP app automatically adjusts your daily calorie goal to your weight loss? I know as we lose weight we require less daily calories to maintain an effective deficit for weight loss. If the app does not automatically adjust, how often are you recalculating it yourself?

    I adjust if I fail to lose for two weeks in a row.

    Going back through guided setup should make MFP readjust your numbers.

    That said: MFP's always giving you what amounts to population average numbers for people similar to you demographically. If you find that you lose materially faster or slower than sensible at your MFP-generated goal (on average over 4-6 weeks, or whole menstrual periods if that applies), then you might want to set and adjust your calorie goal based on your own personal results.
