Hi im new here how do u put your own grams in like 50g of frozen onions or half the packet of boiled

You can only use the units that are available for that specific food database entry. So you either use the available units, or find a different entry with the required unit, in out create your own.
If you want to log 50gr of onions, find an entry with 100gr as a unit and log 0.5, or find any entry that has 1gr is as a unit and log 50.
As for half a bag of rice, if you know the weight of the total g, just log half of that in multiples of 1gr, or multiples/fractions of 100gr.0 -
If it's in 100 gram increments when you pull the drop down, you would just do .5 as a serving if what you're entering is 50 grams.0
