Unposted comments not deleting

This is sort of a weird one, I think.

At times I'll start typing a comment and either think better of posting it or get distracted and an hour later come back and the window for responding is closed...or whatever.

I try deleting what was typed and it's gone but then I'll come back to the thread and the unposted comment is back.

I've tried hitting refresh and clicking on the categories link to start over in the forums but they don't go away.

I use the web version....

Any clue?

I found I can get rid of them on desktop by clicking "My Drafts" in the right hand Quick Links box and manually clicking the X on each of them, otherwise they hang around forever.

It happens to me, too. I clear my browsers and the comment is still there when I come back. Super creeps me out. 👻

Glad I'm not alone. Sorta. It's a pretty eyerolling thing to happen

At least the little comment box isn't adding answers or comments on its own, I guess!

Happening to me as well and yes! I would be in trouble if it did that on one particular nauseated thread 🤭🤣

I REALLY feel the need to point out I meant myself and not the mods.
