Hello all! I am new to this challenge and excited to see everyoneโs progress over the next month.
I am 36/F and 4โ11. I just got back from vacation yesterdayโฆ so I suspect a bit of water weight on the scale this morning. Prior to my vacation I weighed in at 149.

August 2:129.2(-0.8) Well! I kinda didn't believe. I went down (0.8 Lbs) In one night. To reach the 129s, It's true tho : 0. Weighed myself 6 times in a row. To Convince myself it actually happened. At 6:00Am hr,I am another weight (-0.8 Lbs)lighter. Guess the one week break from my calorie deficit. Was/Is more beneficial torwards my goals than detrimental : )

I'm guessing that you're in maintenance. How long have you been maintaining? It's something I haven't been able to do once I reach goal. This time (the 3rd time losing) will be different. I'm going to learn how and make it stick. I have a long way to go before I get there but I can use any advice you have... thanks.

@3rdtimelosesit - Evelyn - I have been in maintenance for just a few months. I don't feel like I have it figured out yet, other than I need to keep tracking and staying within calories to keep this going. I did try changing my MFP goals to maintenance, which gave me 1500 calories + exercise calories (typically 400-500 calories/day) and I ate every single one of those calories. I still maintained, but was at the higher end of my range. Just a week or so ago, I took myself back down to losing 1350 calories + exercise and I'm happier mentally with the upper limit being under 2000 calories. I'm still eating every calorie allotted to me including exercise, but I think I need to learn/commit to calorie banking and thinking about this at a weekly level instead of a daily level since I have a bunch of social situations coming up that I think will be harder to manage.

Welcome to MFP. I was new in June so getting to know my way around as well. If you are at your home, click on community tab which is located towards the right side on the top blue line. Clicking on this community tab will take you to "My FitnessPal Community" page. On the top right side there will be a magnifier, a bell & your tiny profite picture. If there have been any posts in any group that you have flagged they will show as notifications where the bell is. Clicking on that bell will show you links to that group & it's posts. If you scroll down on the right hand side you will see a list of "quik links". Any groups or discussions you have flagged will show up there. Hope this helps. I'm still trying to figure out my personal blog. I have done 2 but they didn't show up anywhere as far as I can tell and they aren't showing up in my blog as my having made any blogs. I see on other members blogs that they have blogs they've done archived and show up but I'm darned if I know how this is done.

08/05-200.2-(Trend Weight: 201.2)- Time to progress to progress. Funny itโs the same spelling but a completely different word and meaning and pronunciation. But so true for meโฆโฆ I have for the better part of this year been just barely maintaining. I need to lose weight. Being around 200+ pounds is totally unacceptable!
