21 days in tomorrow!

Hey!
I'm really loving the MPF site, so friendly, positive, helpful and supportive! Three weeks ago today I started a thread in Introduce Yourself board, with the subject heading "Starting Tomorrow". I was 10cm wider three weeks ago today, AND 7kg heavier (15 pounds)

How is everyone else going? Feel free to friend me! I'm always happy to meet new people.
:glasses:

Well - This week I've found 0.3kg of that 7kg you lost - pretty much as expected, as I've upped the mileage on the bike, and the food and liquids intake to suit.

Not worried in the slightest about it either - I know that this is probably the final hard training "block" i'll be doing this season - a couple of one-off longer rides, towards the end of next month and the beginning of october, but other than that i'm on "smiles not miles"" riding for a couple of months, then as the weather closes in, its long-steady-diistance outdoors and the indoor trainer for the strenuous stuff until next years "Spring Classics Challenges" begin again.

Yep, I'm sad it's coming towards the end of the summer as I feel I've just got into a rhythm now, having lost 10 weeks. But these things happen, I will carry on commuting when the weather isn't too bad and may purchase a trainer as well for the winter.

Like you say - the scales don't really reflect the truth if you change your riding pattern - I'm just enjoying being fit and healthy and any weight loss is a bonus!

Yes I hear you- cycling can make me really hungry too, when I'm fit, slimmer and doing a lot more miles. I'm so impressed with your weight loss hey, it's really motivating and inspiring! I don't think the scales matter- at the moment it's really good for me to monitor them, and the centimeters, because for months I simply didn't care. I imagine in a couple of months I will relax into it a little more.
