My name is Opalle, 7 years ago MFP helped me lose over 35 lbs. Since then I've been up and down, including my heaviest when I quit smoking a few years ago but lost that weight pretty easily. Not enough to be at a "normal" weight but enough to get lazy on healthy habits and start the upward trend again. I'm currently 198lbs. Getting on the scale and seeing it that close to 200 was my wake-up call. Putting the breaks on that now and hope to eventually lose 58 lbs by dividing it up into several mini goals. I was also part of some groups here that really helped but the groups don't seem too active right now. I'm being realistic about this so I know I'll be here a while and would love some new friends.
