Back Again

Advice from my doctor was to join myfitnesspal. I was on years ago and it was helpful. I could use some support. I formally start a monitored program and a 5 day fast on the 11th. It's a doctor recommended nutritous program to jump start my metabolism. It's called Prolon. Anyone else ever tried it? Today's my b-day and I'm going out on Wednesday to dinner with friends thus, the delayed start to the fast. Right now, I'm just trying to not totally blow my calorie count sky high over the next few days.

    I just did it. I needed to clean up my diet and get control of my sugar cravings. The Prolon fast did it. It’s not too hard except on a day 3. The food is so-so but much more tolerable than trying to do a water fast.

    I’ve seen some misinformation on the board - the Prolon program is not really for weight loss but for longevity. And, you don’t have to buy anything to do the FMD. Dr. Longo has recipes and guidance in his book, which I got on Amazon for $7. FYI I bought the kit because I wanted something convenient.
