    I remember that feeling. I started MFP thinking it wouldn't work, but when I saw my weight actually go down, felt great to finally find a strategy that worked!

    I also remember that feeling. My start was about 8 months ago. Slacked off during a long vacation camping trip and was not eating right, but back on track!
    Did you get your scale yet? It kind of makes it more “fun”. I am doing the slow losing path at 1750 calories. It is only slightly challenging. I do fine most days but have to make sure I balance out a low cal breakfast (oatmeal or a cup of cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk) if I plan on a higher calorie supper. It is mostly easy. Just have only 2 pieces pizza on a movie night, for example.
    If we are on the road and have to eat fast food it just destroys the rest of the day. I used to bring good things but I did slack off. Back at it, though! And with the wisdom of adding a couple pounds last month instead of losing a few. I don’t want to erase my progress!
    I’m glad for your positive beginning and that feeling continues each time you lose another pound. Enjoy your journey!! :)
