How much protein, and what are your workouts?

JMO, go to maintenance and recomp. You don't need to be in a surplus to build muscle, especially if you are new to weights (guessing based on you look young) and have some body fat. Keep working out and progressing, and aim for at least 150g protein daily.

I know appearances can be deceiving, but you look really young. The 2006 in your username isn't your birth year, is it?

I would either reverse up to maintenance and /or build for a while. You look very young so you should see good results.
You don't say what height you are so you may just need to recomp rather than keep losing.

"Lifting weights"...but what is your actual programming and is it conducive to your goals? When I was young I had difficulty making any real progress with my physique largely because I wasn't doing any kind of structured programming specific to what I wanted to achieve.

Sometimes youth can be the greatest factor of them all. In high school I ran and did some lifting, remained rail thin through graduation. A few years later in college, even without lifting (just lots of calisthenics and more running), my upper body exploded in musculature. Puberty and muscle building hit at different rates for different people...some look like Arnold their freshman year, others have to wait until their 20's.

This may not be super helpful, but it’s really up to you. Eventually you are going to have to bulk. You could probably still make progress at maintenance since you are young and probably pretty new to the gym

5 months and you don't think the results are "good enough"? When it comes to building a physique, think in terms of YEARS, not months. Of course you will see changes in months, but nobody is gonna get a sick aesthetic body in the time span of single-digit months.

As others have said, my vote would be to eat at/near maintenance and work on recomp.

Also, if you're not on a structured, progressive program, I'd definitely get goin' on that, stat.

I wouldn’t worry to much about Bulking or cutting yet as it’s still early days of training for you. You’ve done a great job so far, why not eat at a maintenance / Minimal surplus of calories and if your diet is consistent for another 6 months along with training then decide what you would like to do.
