Try nutrient dense higher calorie foods like nut butters, seeds, avocado, protein shakes with nuts, oats and fruit or avocado. Try mini meals.1

Also, look at low-volume (not very sating) but higher-calorie foods. For many people, that would be things like nuts, seeds, nut butters, more fats used in cooking, full-fat dairy rather than low fat, more dressing on salads (or more caloric dressings), fattier meats/fish, mayo on sandwiches, etc. Heck, even treat foods can be reasonable choices if you need calories when your overall nutrition is already in decent shape, and if you can moderate them.1
