Lazy but getting there

Thank you all for the input and ideas.. I am lazy now and Low Carb Keto.. However I started on Feb, 27th 2019 on a strict Keto diet after watching a great Documentary called "the Magic Pill"..( wasn't a pill at all to my surprise ) It inspired me to clean out my cabinets and fridge .. I lost 53 pounds in 3 months..I weighed 147lbs. I kept it off till I moved then I gained back slowly almost 20 lbs.. I started on this site after I moved and tried keeping track but got real lazy at it.. But I did try to watch my carbs howbeit being dirty .. I ate too many Calories even though it was low carb .. I weighed this morning ( Aug.20th 2022 ) and weighed in at 155lbs.. I think my drinking the Japanese Matcha Green Tea as a Meal helped with that along with at least one good meal a day. I started drinking that the middle of July last month at 162 lbs. So I was so excited to see the 7 lbs gone .. Along with some IF also I think I can get back down to the 147 lbs. That was my original loss.. I truely want to go further like down to 135 lbs. but will just go slow and keep drinking the Matcha Green tea.. I really think this helps.. Has anyone else drank that? I would be interested in the results,,, Thank you.

I drink matcha tea daily. I track my calories carefully (well, I did for several years: I'm a little more sloppy now, in year 6+ of maintaining a healthy weight). I've never seen any difference in my body weight that I could attribute to matcha . . . but it's tasty, especially cold, with a citrus wedge, IMO.

My bodyweight tracks very closely with my calorie intake, though . . . which is not a big surprise to me.

I don't do keto. I've been vegetarian for 48+ years now, thin to fat to obese, and now back to thin again. Some people do vegetarian keto, but it sounds miserable to me, given my tastes. I know that some people find they eat more veggies on a keto way of eating than they did previously, but I'd have serious trouble getting the 800g of varied veggies/fruits I strive to eat daily, at low carb let alone keto.

Since I maintain a weight in the 120s pounds most of the time these days while eating over 250g carbs (plus adequate protein/fats), just by calorie counting, I don't feel the need to modify my carb intake.

Going to keep drinking the matcha, though: Tasty!
