So I'm 6'3, 230lb male age 35. I workout every day at least once but usually more than once. I drink tons of water, have a protien shake for 1 meal and then skip another meal only eating one of actual food per day. According to every calorie counter thing online my body is using appx 3550 calories a day. Today I slacked off I only burned 780 from exercise so 3550 + 780 = 4330... And I consumed 2344 calories today. 4330-2344= 1986 calories of stored energy burned for the day. That's well over half a pound. Yet my end of day note tells me "if every day is like today you will weigh 226.5lbs in 5 weeks.
What the hell? So if I lose over a half pound a day for 35 days I lose 3.5 pounds? Im not an expert with numbers or anything but what the hell is up with that? Even if I layed in bed all day id lose more than that in 5 weeks with that calorie intake.

The vast majority of calculators online include your exercise up front in your daily calorie maintenance estimate to give a same every day calorie goal. That would be 3550 not 4330 for yesterday.

MyFitnessPal is unusual in that it works out your calories for a day with no exercise, you estimate it after the event to get a variable daily allowance.

The 5 day forecast is a useless gimmick but to make it somewhat relevant you need to be working with MFP's numbers and not an external calculator.
