Success/Struggle: Weights is up. Not surprising since I have been eating out several days of the week during the past two weeks and definitely overeating. It was fun though and I had some fantastic meals. Once in a while is okay for me but not as often as of late. Hopeful that I will be at goal or below next week but it will take work and focus. I did do better with my exercises.

Week ending Sept 21:
My first really good week in a long time.
I realized I didn’t feel good when I ate rich foods or too much. Went back to eating at home & the foods that make my body feel good.
I now weigh 167.4 (down from
Higher 2 weeks ago) BMI hit 26.1 which woke me up. Already have it down to 25.45. Calories are in “losing range” down 500-600 calories daily I think.
Struggles: I decided I should add more structure to my days after attending an in-line art conference 8AM to 9:30 PM for 5 days. 90 min sessions with 20 minute breaks & hour long meal breaks.
I’m Playing around with a schedule (all of this inspired by @TerriRichardson112 - thank you) as a way to meet my life goals & foster my happiness.
My “Maddie Conference Schedule” will include 90 min breaks for Nature Journaling, Stitch Group & stitching, Hiking, Home Maintenance/Clothes Washing/Plant Care, Research, Getting Ready for Sleep, Calls with Friends, Meal Prep/Eating/Logging, Beat Saber, Times w/Hubby…
I’ve always been very free flow at home, but I truly was so much happier being busier. The schedule reminds me of my classroom schedule & those days were so fun❣️ I will be playing around with different schedules as the days go by.

Success: Got my weight trend turned around and coming back down again. Did two hard rides on the Peloton.
Struggles: Low steps and low water which is a sign of the stress of my job trickling into my personal life and affecting my self care. High stress did kead to overeating two days of this past week.2 -

Successes/struggles of the week: Decent week in terms of weight - consistently in the mid 113's, and then dropped down into the mid 112's one day. I've been on a fruit kick lately which probably has helped a bit and didn't have much takeout either. My workouts weren't great though especially for the past couple of days, as my computer broke and I had to back up everything and send it in for repair which took a lot of time.3 -

Struggles/Success: I am back into my exercise routine with a few pushups thrown lately. Eating is better too with less out of the house eating. I did go out to lunch yesterday and had a house salad with grilled chicken on top and feta cheese. Not bad for a restaurant meal! Now I have to work on getting enough fluids.

No weigh in today as I'm away on holiday 🙂.
We are self catering breakfast and lunch, eating out at tavernas in the evenings. We are pretty active, and I am reasonably careful with food choices.

Successes: My walking & exercise is UP!
Purchased Sanctuary for my Quest2 & it did a better job than my walks at elevating my heart rate!! Excited.
1. Ate my regular healthy breakfast 7/7 days
2. Increased my daily avg steps to 8K
3. Did timed miles, 18+ & 19+ Used to take me 29 mins for 1 mile & I had to rest halfway through.
4. I am back here & on NOOM logging, reflecting, changing behaviors again.
Struggles:
1. *Eating out/takeout.
I used @425Recess ’s salad & chicken idea - awesome! & then ordered dessert which was huge & ate it all. Lost 1/2 the battle at that meal, but I’m still down 60 lbs.
2. * Eating as we watch a show before bed. My reward system Made no difference tonight, so I will try to figure out another idea.
