NOT eating fitness calories

I've used MFP over the years. I have always chosen to NOT connect my fitness device (fitbit, apple watch) because I do not want to eat my activity calories. I figured over time the writers of MFP would create a toggle (as Weight Watchers did) so the user could decide if they want to eat them or not. It appears nothing has changed. I just want to confirm I'm not missing something.

When paying for a Premium version, you can choose to not let exercise calories influence your daily goal. Not sure how that interacts with synced trackers though (whether it's only exercise, or all activity calorie adjustments).
