Which to trust more.

Which macros should I be trusting more at the end of my eating day- The "totals" and the "remaining" figures or the pie chart percentages?

I would say the totals, because the percentages could look perfect even when, for example, you are undereating and have only consumed half your allotted calories.
You should be aware that calories are king for weightloss (or maintenance, or gain, whatever your goal). Macros influence satiation, health,... Ideal macros can vary according to your personal goals and simply your eating preferences as well.
Also, you don't need to be 'perfect' every day. Looking at your weekly average is good enough.
My strategy is: I aim for at least 100gr of protein per day, at least 50gr of fat, and the carbs 'fall where they may'.0 -
Well...they will represent the same whole. The pie chart shows the, "already used/eaten so far in the day," and the columns on the FOOD diary shows the, "Remaining to be eaten," at the bottom.
Is that the confusion?0
