Any suggestions to help a yo-yo dieter get ready for a late september wedding? What snackes or meals help keep creavings for beer, peanuts, and other high calorie comfort foods from overpowering will power?

  • I read a book called the "GenoType Diet." It somewhat individualized plans for people. I have noticed that when I eat according to the book, my cravings really drop.

    Anything that keeps your energy levels steady, so you don't have crashes!

    Low-GI carbs like brown rice, granary bread, wholemeal pasta etc. Plenty of fish, lean meat, veggies. Nuts are fine as they are 'good' fat, just watch the amount!
