Ariix / Slenderiix

Have any of you heard of Slenderiix / Ariix?

An acquaintance of mine was telling me about it. I researched the hell out of it and discovered 2 things:

1. It *might* actually work as it claims... though its key ingredients are sketchy upon research.

Thyroidinum (thyroid extract - legit balancer of thyroids... if they're imbalanced)

Vomica (charming name. raises your blood pressure and contains strychnine in potentially harmful proportions, which would likely suppress your appetite)

Calcera Carbonica (calcium carbonate- an antacid)

Ammonium Bromatum (a sedative - I'm guessing this is how it suppresses hunger).

2. There is almost NO negative information about this on the internet. To, like, a scary degree. Someone has worked VERY hard on the SEO for this product.

When a product has ZERO negative reviews... that honestly sends up a bigger red flag for me than almost ALL negative reviews. Anyway, just thought I'd share. Because the internet is silent... and that's not ok.

  • It's gotta be garbage.

It's a homeopathic solution. If you read up on how homeopathy is supposed to work (and have a functioning brain, I assume you do but there are a lot of people who still buy that stuff), you'll know why that's a huuuuge indicator that it does nothing. Also claims to "flush toxins" - that's another meaningless buzzphrase that's a good sign that it's nothing more than woo. Your instincts are right - don't waste your money!

It's complete garbage. Don't even waste your time considering it.

Alot of the ingredients listed are terrible. When there's a warning that it's not safe for pregnant/breastfeeding, that's an immediate red flag. Apparently one of the ingredients (if not more) cause birth defects in research animals. Um yeah, no thanks.

The plan itself is 1250 calories and then you add these vile water drops under your tongue. It reminds me alot of the HcG drops.... which are ridiculously dangerous. Not saying these are the same, but it reminds me of it.

    There's no magic pill/drop.

Eat at a calorie deficit, stay within a sustainable goal, and do it with good old fashion regular food. You don't HAVE to exercise to lose weight, but it helps with fitness/endurance.

short cuts don't work long term, and they don't teach you how to take care of yourself.

they DO teach you how to be dependent on them so you need to keep shelling out $$ to continue to see "results"

And the $$$ on this stuff... $140-$160 for a MONTH of drops! I mean.... it had better wash my car, clear up my skin, iron my laundry and buff my *kitten* for that price.
